The Department of Science and Technology invites the public to join the 2nd National Youth Science, Technology and Innovation Festival (NYSTIF) from September 18-21 at The PICC Forum Tent, Pasay City.
The science festival, with the theme “STEM VIBE: Engaging the Youth in Providing Solutions and Opening Opportunities, aims to enhance youth appreciation and awareness of science, technology, and innovation (STI) and to experience science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a vibrant, innovative, brilliant, and engaging (VIBE) way to inspire them to pursue careers in these fields.
DOST Undersecretary for Scientific and Technical Services Maridon O. Sahagun invites and encourages the youth to participate in the engaging festival of various S&T exhibits,
projects, competitions, and all other activities.
This year’s activities will also cover topics such as blockchain technology, science communication, metrology, textile technology, 3D printing, among others. The 2024 NYSTIF serves as a platform to showcase the S&T achievements of DOST and to feature exhibits by the various agencies of the Department.
